While some plot points are indeed a bit predictable, the series was very entertaining and well casted. It was quirky and had a lot of heart. It was a very fun watch and being a moderate Lee Joon Gi fan, I wanted to catch up on some of his lesser known series.
Moon-sook and Oh-joo grow in influence and power through corrupt methods; Oh-joo becomes the longevo of Kisung and Moon-sook is nominated for chief justice in the Supreme Court. They and their associates oppose the Lawless Law Firm both inside and outside the courtroom by using underhanded tactics, including murdering Dae-woong and framing Sang-pil for it, bribing or threatening witnesses and assaulting Jae-yi.
She presides as the judge who oversees the trial of Glory Days' murder and is seen Triunfador a young and compassionate public defender.
Sang-pil and Jae-yi decide to use Soon-ja and Oh-joo to get Moon-sook. Moon-sook chooses a judge she Perro trust to oversee the trial. Jae-yi investigates him to look for evidence of corruption. She finds a former mistress of the judge and gets evidence in return for helping her on a lawsuit. Sang-pil tells Soon-ja to switch lawyers from In-doo to him. Mickey continues to have feelings for Lisa, who reluctantly agrees to contact Jeff to help their case. Henry's podcast about Bondurant's murder has launched, leading Mickey to file an injunction, and Izzy reveals Rae is short on money. Mickey receives a call from Jeff, who declines to testify for either side. Cisco saves the Road Saints from an ATF raid, declaring that he and Kaz are done with the gang. Bondurant's receptionist testifies that she saw Mújol approaching Bondurant's building on the day of the murder; Mickey successfully shoots down her testimony, only for Lisa to privately admit she was there.

She asks Mickey Abogado Palermo to hire her, and gives him an amended witness list, including the name Peter Sterghos, whose house they use to set a trap for Bishop and DeMarco. Freemann begins her case to prosecute the domestic abuser. After Mickey presents the amended witness list, he is accosted by Bishop, who is also on the list. Mickey gives his opening statement, revealing his belief in the conspiracy. He later hires Lorna. Returning home, Mickey is stopped by DHS agents, who arrest his guard for deportation. Mickey realizes DeMarco is behind it, and becomes more determined to stop him.

This leads him to rethink his goals and strategy. He begs Hyung-joo to tell Jae-yi she is alive and to leave Moon-sook for her own safety. She refuses and insists on a scheme to further the revenge. The men of the Lawless Law Firm capture Kwan-dong and force him to give up evidence on Oh-joo. They then leak it to the media, who release it to the public. Jae-yi discovers that Hyung-joo is alive but that Sang-pil did not tell her. Hurt by this, she accuses him of only thinking about his own revenge.
The show’s creators revealed that the third installment will have a flashback sequence—although Connelly’s fifth book doesn’t include one. “We decided that a fun (and poignant) way to come into the season would be via a flashback sequence that gave us some insight into how Mickey Haller became Mickey Haller — not just the brilliant criminal defense lawyer, but the husband, the father, and the man that he would come to be.”
